Elaine Davies – Financial Services Specialist

I act as a sounding board to business owners and private clients, helping to shape their ideas, realise their plans and save them time and money.

I began my career over 25 years ago in banking and financial services and quickly found my niche was helping clients get to where they want to be.  I derive a great buzz and personal satisfaction from seeing clients achieve their aspirations.

I initially trained in asset finance enabling clients to acquire vehicles, plant and machinery and then moved onto business banking followed by private banking.  As I progressed my career, I studied for and obtained the Finance Lease Certificate and then the Chartered Institute of Bankers Private Banking & Wealth Management qualification.

In January 2017, I left Yorkshire Bank and started my own business.  This came about because many of my long-standing clients expressed an interest in continuing to work with me.  Becoming self-employed enabled me to work more flexibly and shape my own future.

I continue to be driven by the desire to help others.  I have found a secondary outlet for this in my role as President of Craven Speakers Club.  The Club is a member of the Association of Speakers Clubs, helping people to deliver speaking confidence in a supportive environment.  I particularly enjoy evaluating speeches by providing constructive advice as well as participating in impromptu speaking.

Whilst running my own business is challenging, each day is a new day full of promise.  Having an enquiring mind and the tenacity to seek out opportunity will provide the pathway, I believe, to a sustainable future.
